Adjustacus ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Adjustacus mobile application, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By using Adjustacus, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2 Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the app's functionality.

Information you provide directly:

• Email address, if you sign up for early access or create an account
• Photos you capture or upload within the app for property documentation
• Edits, notes, or custom values you enter into a report

Information collected automatically:

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash logs and error reports used to diagnose technical issues
• Basic usage data such as features accessed and session duration

We do not collect your name, physical address, or payment information through the app.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To process photos through our AI engine and generate your property inventory
• To calculate and display replacement cost estimates for identified items
• To generate and deliver PDF and CSV report exports
• To send launch notifications or product updates if you opted in
• To diagnose bugs, improve performance, and develop new features
• To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating and improving Adjustacus.

4 Photos and Image Data

When you take or upload a photo in Adjustacus, the image is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our AI processing servers. The image is analyzed to identify items and estimate replacement values, then the result is returned to your device.

We do not store your photos on our servers after processing is complete. Images are not used to train AI models, shared with third parties, or retained beyond the duration of a single scan session.

Your original photos remain on your device and are not modified or deleted by the app.

5 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the app (such as cloud infrastructure and crash reporting), under strict confidentiality agreements
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction

Any third-party service providers we engage are prohibited from using your information for their own purposes.

6 Data Retention

Reports and inventories you create are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain copies of your completed reports on our servers.

If you provided your email address for early access notifications, we retain that address until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Account data, if applicable, is retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request.

7 Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any marketing or notification emails

Adjustacus is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data transmitted between the app and our servers. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Adjustacus after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
